Problem, Heathens?

Found at an IHOP in Orem, Utah:

So, can this be considered a form of religious discrimination, or can this be compared to "Ladies Night" at a local bar?

And is it worth it to put on a white dress shirt and black tie to get a free Rooty Tooty Fresh and Fruity?  Because I'm considering it...

Problem, non-believers?

Please Share it! :)

Brandini. Since I occasionally do it in the missionary position, I'm heading in for my freebie.

Do it and take a picture of yourself dressed like that.

You should get a book of mormon and a name tag though, because otherwise they won't buy it.

It's not like they're going to drain the soda supply or bankrupt them chowing down on nickel pancakes. It's a transparent marketing strategy especially based on your reported high levels of Mormons it sounds like they're exporting more missionaries than importing. Sounds more like exploitation than discrimination.

Do it!;)

Hehe... I still have my name tag that says "Elder Notthehero" I could so use a free meal I mean with my alcohol addiction and all that. I wonder if it comes with a free beer?

I'll see about getting you an extra missionary name badge from one of the guys down here. Keep in mind it's really easy to spot someone faking the funk, ie being older than say, 23. ;)

I would dress up like a chicken for some free IHOP.

Such blatant discrimination :(

I'd dress up. If anyone asks something I'm not sure of I'd just nod and acknowledge as if I understood what they were saying. People love the mysterious types.

I don't think that it's discrimination. Discrimination would be when restaurants exclude certain people from eating there. So Mormons get a special deal, but so do kids. Most chain restaurants have "kids eat free" days.

I see no problem with dressing up for a free meal...

Wednesdays is the day when missionaries enter the MTC, so it's a nice deal when families go out to eat before saying goodbye for two years. I worked at a restaurant that did the same thing. :)

Go for it! You know you want to :)

I'm buying a bible to get a free meal.

@Chess: Oohhhhhhhhhhhh.... that makes sense.

For a "last meal" with the fam, I don't think I'd choose IHOP though. But that's just me.

Mooner said it best.

There is a lot to be said about Missionary, if done right :)

Bring on the free food!

Haha wow, that's great!

Love it! Please dress up and take a picture of yourself enjoying a free breakfast.

I would look at it as a private business and they are just trying to help out the poor missionaries. These kids leave their families for two years and have few funds. So a free rooty tooty might just be the pick me up they need.
