Oh that is funny. Is that a real sign? Really?
It's really real...
That there is a thing of beauty. I do love Idaho.
that title is brilliant! totally beats my title for the day, as I was left with no words or imagination this morning.
that just makes me want to laugh at them even more! lol.
It's a warning huh? Well I laughed. Now what??
lol :-p brilliant sign.
Okay so I think it would have been even funnier if it said.......Warning Tourists! Don't FEED the natives! Because let's be honest here they might bite and infect you with mormonism. LOLwww.sweetydarlin.blogspot.com
What will they do? Fine us? Kick us out of Idaho? Haha, too funny!
Idaho is famous for what? Mormon temple? I think they should find a new catch slogan to attract tourists.Las Vegas- CasinosNew york - Ellis Island and statue of libertyFlorida and California - Disneyland, DisneyworldHawaii- BeachIdaho - Land of weird signs
You live there, you might not be a native, bu tyou are not a tourist either. To be honest, I prefer the bumper stickers I see all over here in Coeur d'Alene "If it's called tourist season, why can't we shoot them?"
@Brea: Bumper stickers are awesome. One you see often in Southern Idaho and a lot of Montana is "I BUY LOCAL." Yet, you see it on Hondas, Toyotas, Volkswagens.... *cough*
"don't laugh, pity them"
I think this kind of warning sign needs to be erected around my home city...the natives here are downright dangerous
But its o.k. to feed them?
...not after midnight...
I need that sign for my front yard.
I'd write a sitcom.Or a blog.Oh, wait, you got that taken care of.Carry on.
Obviously if there's a natives-being-laughed-at problem, they should address it at the source and not expect too much of the visitors.
Idaho is actually famous forFamous Potatoes. Saw the huge truck yesterday.and its called The Gem State. Seriously how did we end up with a Raptor on our Quarter?I love that sign. It is my absolute fave. I actually designed a t-shirt around that once. Had the sign on the front and on the back was a kid that got beat up saying "I laughed" as an explanation. There used to be a sign in Ririe that said "Just when you thought you were lost, smile! You're in Ririe, Idaho. It's one of the towns it's impossible to be lost in - it has about three streets. My husband did get lost, but he had a brain injury.
It's funny, I read in the local newspaper today that a man in Idaho was arrested for falsly identifying himself. Yea he had his last name tattooed on his arm, in plain site of the cop and thought it a good idea to use another name. tee hee... :) Good stuff.
Best Tourism Sign ever!
Idaho's famous for a lot...the Grand Tetons, for example. And not everyone in Idaho is Mormon
