Facebook is like group theraphy session without confidentiality is no first and fifth amendment. Embrace your inner nerd and accept your true self Brandon. Say it aloud "I am a facebookolohic". Friday night messages - alcoholic.monday evening message - workoholic. Tuesday evening - steakaholic, amazon shares - single status and shoppholic. See, one declaration is enough to work on all phobias and manias.
It is the best day EVER! Well after Star Trek day if that exists. I never knew Star Wars had a day, but imagine the hell that George Lucas deals with today. His nerd is rampaging the globe!
Ahahaha, I totally set this as my Facebook status before I left for work today. And I'm also wearing a vintage Star Wars shirt and plan to have a private SW marathon this evening as I clean the apartment. Embrace it. Geekery knows no bounds.
Comments are always appreciated. Sometimes they end up being better than the initial post! Come join in on the fun... (and remember, you can post anonymously)
And if you like the post, feel free to share! Stumble, Digg, Tweet, go bananas!
I bet you say that every year.
ReplyDeleteThis isn't the first time I've seen this today.. lols. Glad you're drawing the line somewhere!

ReplyDeleteHey Dork. It's time to come out of the closet. I will do the same. I declare with pride that I truly love "Andy of Mayberry."

ReplyDeleteI wore a black bathrobe all day in honour of The Darth. I have attained an open level of geekdom that makes me blush.
ReplyDeleteIt does lose its charm after the 2394872361st time you hear it... but i still enjoy the quirky things people dream up to celebrate the fandom.
ReplyDeleteI wish that was the worst thing I've put on Facebook.
ReplyDeleteStill, I AM "quite a nice person" so maybe I'm good.
Yea my colleague always puts that up every year and everyone thinks it's so clever and surprising and new. Jesus.
ReplyDeleteOh, and don't forget about the Revenge of the 5th! Ha ha ha!
ReplyDeleteSorry, May 5th is cinco de mayo, a sacred drinking holiday. May 4th, if anything, is like drunk christmas eve...
and a happy Star wars day to you too. :)
ReplyDeleteThat's funny!
