However, I'm still a little confused by this one.
Ponies.
A new My Little Pony cartoon launched last year, and a slew of Bronies have taken the cartoon and tainted it with the awesomeness of the interwebz.
I watched a few episodes of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, to see if I could understand the phenomenon. While mildly entertaining, I don't know if it warrants popularity for the 20-30 male demographic.
But who am I to argue?
I'm a child of the 80's, and my little ponies were for girls.
I guess the ponies of the 21st century are more for everyone?
I did enjoy the fact there were girly ponies, androgynous ponies, and a couple 'butch' ponies, even though all were female. It's not just about fitting into a predetermined box. Ponies come in all colors, sizes, and orientations.
Even though I have yet to see some hot, steamy 'pony on pony' action, I have a feeling Applejack and Rainbow Dash are getting it on. They look TOTALLY into each other...
...wait...
...am I being sucked in?
...no no.... I'm too manly to be watching ponies...

I watch My Little Ponies with the little girl I nanny for all the time. It is nowhere as good as the show from the 80's and the look of the new toys sucks compared to the old ones but I rarely take little kid shows to a perverted place.

I don't have Pony mania but if she is going to watch a show I'd rather it be that than Little Einsteins or some other highly annoying show because I swear if I have to hear the theme song to Dora The Explorer one more time somebody may die!
