The Spud Tug - Doesn't Involve Tugging a Spud

Today is the main day of festivities for the Idaho Spud Days, mentioned on an earlier post.

I didn't bring my camera to record the parade or anything, but here is a clip I found from the 2010.... shindig...

Enjoy.

  2. There were two mascots (or people in mascot costumes) that had nothing to do with potatoes as far as I could tell, and seemed like they were only made to terrorize children. Gotta give it up to the Spud Queen, she was cute in a "gonna get pregnant before from some guy I don't know then claim it's my boyfriend's baby" kind of way.

  5. Wow. Uh. Interesting. Very interesting. I think the ponies pulling the carriage was my favorite part. It reminded me of Lil' Sebastian from "Parks and Rec."

  6. Um, did I see those people feeding a bag of chips to a goat? I bet that poor goat was dying of thirst the rest of the day!
